About
Geneva L. Reed is a lifelong learner and passionate about the role of education in the lives of her students. As a pre-engineering teacher, my philosophy embodies active learning principles, creating an engaging, comfortable learning environment and a student-centered focus. By fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and application of knowledge, students can have a more effective overall learning experience. In addition to Geneva's role as a pre-engineering teacher, she is an associate faculty in higher education and teaches business communication and organizational leadership courses in higher education. Geneva introduces leadership and business communications in the classroom through team projects and presentations.
The curriculum developed will focus on innovative research methodologies and biomedical innovations that advance the work and cures for many diseases and cancers. I only hope I can inspire my students to stay open to learning, as learning is life-long and appears in unexpected ways.
